About MoneyOra

MoneyOra was built around one idea: financial decisions should not require a finance degree.

Every day, millions of people in India make financial choices — how much to invest in SIP, whether an EMI is affordable, what stop loss to set before a trade, how long their retirement corpus will last — without access to the right tools. They either guess, or they rely on calculators buried inside apps that require login, push notifications, and marketing emails.

MoneyOra fixes that. No login. No sign-up. No fees. Just accurate, fast financial calculators that work the moment you open them.

What MoneyOra offers

We have built over 20 free financial calculators across three categories:

Investment and savings calculators

The SIP calculator helps you project mutual fund returns on monthly investments. The lumpsum calculator shows how a one-time investment grows over time. The SWP calculator helps retirees plan monthly withdrawals from a corpus. The PPF calculator, EPF calculator, and NPS calculator model government-backed retirement savings. The FD calculator and RD calculator cover fixed and recurring deposits.

Loan and EMI calculators

Our EMI calculator handles any loan type. Dedicated calculators for home loans, car loans, and personal loans give precise monthly payment breakdowns including total interest paid and amortisation schedules.

Stock market and trading tools

For traders and investors, we offer the stop loss calculator, position size calculator, brokerage calculator, margin calculator, stock return calculator, dividend yield calculator, PE ratio calculator, option price calculator, and stock average calculator.

Banking utilities

The IFSC code finder and bank details finder let you verify any bank branch's details instantly — useful before making a fund transfer or linking a bank account to a trading platform or mutual fund.

Our approach

Every calculator on MoneyOra is built with three principles in mind.

Accuracy first. We use standard financial formulas — the same ones used by SEBI-registered advisors, chartered accountants, and financial planning software. We do not round numbers in ways that inflate projections. What you see is what the math actually gives you.

No barriers. You should not have to create an account, verify a phone number, or accept push notifications to calculate your EMI. Every tool on MoneyOra works without login, without sign-up, and without giving us your phone number or email address.

Plain language. Our guides and articles explain financial concepts the way a knowledgeable friend would — using real Indian examples, simple numbers, and straightforward explanations. We do not use unnecessary jargon.

Important disclaimer

MoneyOra's calculators provide estimates based on the inputs you enter and assumed rates. They are for informational and planning purposes only. Results do not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or guaranteed returns.

Market-linked investments like SIP and SWP carry risk. EPF and PPF interest rates can change annually. Loan EMIs depend on the exact terms of your agreement with your lender. Always verify important financial decisions with a qualified financial advisor or SEBI-registered investment advisor (RIA) before acting.
